What's inside

Four things in every envelope.

No. I

The poem

A new one each month, typed on the Smith-Corona. Length varies — some months it's four lines, some months it fills the page. You get whatever the month gave me.

No. II

A page from the journal

Prose, not poetry. Where I've been, what I'm working on, what's been sitting on my mind. The part of the writing life nobody posts.

No. III

The news sheet

Short. Books coming, art drops, limited typed editions, where to find me. Club members hear it here before it goes anywhere else.

No. IV

Mystery Items

Each delivery comes with new surprises: mini-poems, personal poetry prompts, bookmarks, stickers, fine art prints, and more. Keep your eyes on the mail and grow your Flower Press collection.

How it's made

Typed once. Then printed, one for each of you.

Every month I write the poem by hand and type it on the 1949 Smith-Corona. That sheet gets scanned at high resolution and printed on the same cotton paper for everyone in the club, so what lands in your mailbox is the real thing at full size: the ink, the paper, the keys that hit a little crooked.

I'm telling you this because I'd rather you hear it from me than wonder. A commission is different — that one is typed for you and there is no second copy.

One subscriber a month gets the original typed sheet instead of the print.

Drawn at random. Signed and dated. No way to enter but being in the club.

Questions

Before you join.

When does the first envelope arrive?

Everything goes out in one batch at the start of each month. Subscribe any time and you're on the next one. Depending on where you live, USPS takes a few days from there.

Can I send it to someone else?

Yes, and people do. Put their address in at checkout and the envelopes go straight to them. If you want them to know it came from you, tell me and I'll write your name on the first one.

Is the poem written just for me?

No. The monthly poem is written for the whole club, typed once and printed for everyone. If you want one written for a specific person, that's a custom request instead.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from your own subscriber page — cancel, change your card, or update the address the envelopes go to. You keep every envelope already sent, and nothing else comes after.

Do you mail outside the US?

Not yet. Postage abroad costs more than the subscription does. If you're overseas and want in, message me on Instagram and I'll see what I can work out.

What if I move?

Update the address on your subscriber page and the next envelope follows you. If it's close to the end of the month, send me a message too so I catch it before the batch goes out.
